Every two years, the Danforth Museum of Art celebrates contemporary photography through a highly selective exhibition of photographers who live or work in New England. 74 photographs were selected from 1055 images submitted by 211 photographers. This years juror, George Slade, Former Curator and Program Manager for the Photographic Resource Center in Boston, choose two of my images from the BAGLY Series.
This image, in Center Forward at The Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, CO., was chosen by juror Hamidah Glasgow. The show is up for the month of June 2011, and will be extended through the Summer of 2011 so that it can travel to Denver.
Hal Gould & Loretta Young-Gautier chose this image to be shown at the Camera Obscura Gallery in Denver, Co., for an exhibition held in December-January 2011. Sadly, the Camera Obscura Gallery has since closed.
Juror Aurther Dion, of Gallery NAGA chose this image for the Cambridge Art Association, Members Prize Show in Fall 2010.
I put this image in the Annual Members’ 12x12 Exhibition
and Silent Auction. It was on display from July 23-Sept 11, 2010. This event supports the Provincetown Art Association and Museum.
One of my images was chosen for "Collective," an exhibition juried by Dina Deitsch, assistant curator at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum. The show was up at Galatea Fine Art in August 2010.
